No confirmation yet whether she is hot. But what I want to know is, where were these teachers when I was in school?
Actually we had a teacher that was rumored to like her men young, but she was nothing like some of these women of late.
I have not watched a single Clemson basketball game this year where they haven't loss. So I am boycotting the ACC tourney in hopes that my bad Karma won't effect this team any more.
I also have the same bad streak with UCONN. Anyone want me to root for a team so they lose?
Well, with a heavy mind and heart I decided to continue with my ski trip to NC. When we got motivated on Saturday (750ML of JD and High Altitude Drinking = a rough one), we received a voicemail on our cell phone from someone who found Alexa.
They called animal control because we imediately weren't calling back (didn't have signal). I called my parents, and they went on to wait in the parking lot until Alexa came in on the truck. Alexa got there and after many phone calls to/from the slopes, they decided to skirt policy and let her go to my parents. But, not before fining me $140.
After that Alexa went imediately to the emergency clinic. They put her to sleep and worked on her for a while. She had been hit by a car and had suffered some gashes and scrapes. They stitched her up and put a sock on her and sent her on her way.
It has been a slow recovery. We are very grateful to have her back. She was very lucky not to break any bones or worse. She has to wear the silly cone so she will not lick her wounds but 4 days after coming home she is starting to snap back to her old self.
As for the ski trip.... good times. There were 9 heavy drinkers in a very nice cabin in Banner Elk. We missed the good snow as it snowed 16 inches after we left. But to most in my party, that didn't matter. I think Lisa and myself were the only ones that went on more than 2 runs. We eventually got some good skiing in when we started using the more advanced trails. There was better snow there and less lines. Watching the other skiiers, NC has some really bad skiers. It was the warmest weather I had skiied in in a long time, and I didn't even need my Flask to keep me warm, which I was disapointed in.
This was my first time skiing in NC in a long time. I will definitely go back to WV or PA as my choice destination. NC was good for the cabin/resort atmosphere, but the skiing was overpriced and not as good.
I did add to my resume for getting to puke due to my fast mountain driving. I thought the SUV would keep me from it. But banner elk has some windy roads and I had some hungover people. Three have now fallen victim to my mountain driving.
Well, my week started with me getting very frustrated with the progress of my attic renovation then I got blown away on Tuesday when I received a phone call from Lisa telling me Alexa and my brother's dog got out. Alexa has gotten out many times before, but this time since she had company, she decided to go far. My brothers dog came back, Alexa didn't. This is to be expected if they encountered someone. My brothers dog is very shy while Alexa isn't.
My theory is Alexa has been stolen. She had our info on her tag, we have been throughout the neighborhood and have friends in the police force keeping an eye out for her. We have offered a reward for her hoping it will entice whoever is holding her to give her back.
Work has not been a bundle of joy this week due to it. The good news is the attic is starting to move along. Going Skiing this weekend while my father watches out for the dog.
Here's hoping she finds her way back or the people that have her see my ad. I know this is not a great way to start posts with actual content. I'm sure this weekend will provide me with some more humorous content for next week.
